A 16 year old boy Habibu Umar has been convicted of sexual harassment by a Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Birnin kebbi and sentenced to three years in Corrections Facility.
Police Prosecutor Insp. Muntari Mati, on Thursday, 23rd, November, 2023, in a case No BK/538C/223, presented Habibu Umar before the court on one count charge of sexual harassment contrary to section 263 of Kebbi state Penal code.
Habibu pleaded guilty as charged in the court, Judge Judge Samaila Kakale Mungadi therefore sentenced Habibu to three years in Correctional facility with the option to pay fine of one hundred and fifty thousand Naira (N150, 000).
