A 16 year old boy Habibu Umar has been arrested for alleged rape of two minors in Badariya area Birnin kebbi.
He was intercepted in the early hours of Tuesday 21 November, 2023 after he allegedly lured two small girls (Names withheld) both residing in Badariya to a nearby bush between Badariya area and Army barracks where he defiled the two girls aged 6 and 5 years.
Online News Blog isyaku.com gathered that the operation was conducted by Commander Ahmad Waziri, DC Aminu Abdullahi, and Samaila Karo, Commander Bayan Kara, under the security committee operating under Gwandu Emirate led by Alhaji Bello Nahaliku.
The committee initially presented the accused person and the victims before the Ubandoma of Gwandu, where the suspect voluntarily confessed to committing the crime at the Palace during questioning.
Preliminary Medical examination conducted by a Medical personnel from Kebbi Medical Center attached to Hisbah office Ubandoma palace, confirmed there was penetration on the two girls.
Equally, Viral Screening Test conducted by the medical personnel indicated the suspect is Hepatitis B reactive, but it is not reactive in the case of the two girls, but will require the girls to repeat the test after three weeks.
The publication had reliably gathered that the case had been handed over to Kebbi state Hisbah headquaters. After preliminary investigation by Hisbah commanders, the case had been reliably transfered to the Nigeria police Area Command Birnin kebbi for investigation and prosecution by the police.
