Kebbi Governor's wife lauds Kebbi state Government for supporting Moses Lake Foundation


Wife of Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris, has commended the state government under the leadership of her husband Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu for supporting the ongoing medical outreach in Abuja being carried out by Moses lake foundation.

 She made the commendation during  a visit to  Garki General Hospital and Nigerian Bar Association’s Secretariat Abuja, to identify with the good course organised by NBA in partnership with Medicaid Cancer Foundation, saying the gesture  will go a long way in improving the overall health of people.

Hajiya Nafisa Nasir then appealed to Moses Lake Foundation and NBA to replicate same gesture in Kebbi for the citizens to benefit especially those in the rural areas who needed it most.

In his address, the President Nigerian Bar Association, Barr Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, expressed appreciation to Kebbi State Government led by Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu who generously supported the free medical care for Lawyers and Kebbi residents as well as the general public, adding that the outreach was the first of its kind organised by the Association. 

In his welcome address, the medical director Garki general hospital, Dr.  Adamu Ono expressed delight over the gesture and thanked the wife of the Governor for the visit and NBA for carrying out the outreach in the hospital, describing it as  commendable.

Highlights of the visit were presentation of gifts  to the patients by the Governor's wife who later went round the hospital to meet the foreign doctors. 

Among the entourage of the wife of the Governor was the Special Adviser to the Governor on health Dr Aminu Haliru Bunza.
