In Her Excellency's effort (Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu) to mitigate financial burden and to improve maternal health and safe delivery in Kebbi State, on 13th June, 2023, Her Excellency, Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) flagged off her first program officially at Primary health care of Dalijan ward of Gwandu LGA and that of Alwasa of Argungu LGA.
The program is through Nafisa Nasir Charity Development Foundation (NANAS) where delivery packs were distributed to all the pregnant women of Alwasa and Dalijan respectively.

n her ²remarks, she urged pregnant women to be going for Antenatal care visit and also be giving birth at hospital in order⅞⅞ to minimize the death occurrence at giving birth.

She also encouraged them to be using LLIN (Long Lasting Insecticide Net) distributed to them to avoid malaria because Malaria lead to the death of many unborn babies.
She also assured them that, she will continue striving to work on Maternal, New born, Child health and Nutrition and Health generally in Kebbi State and even beyond through NANAS Foundation and through her office as wife of the governor of Kebbi State.
She paid an advocacy visit to the traditional ruler of Alwasa and seek for his blessings and prayers and he uttered that words can't express how happy he is and assured Her Excellency, Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu of his maximum support and cooperation.
May God continue to bless Her Excellency Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and may he reward her with Jannatul firdausi for the philanthropic work she has been doing in Kebbi State.
