BAGUDU SWEARS IN THREE JUDGES, ONE KHADI IN KEBBI.

The Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has swore in three High court Judges and One Grand Khadi for Kebbi State High Court and Sharia Court as well.
The three new High Court Judges are Hon. Justices Hassan Shehu Kuwa, Hon Justice Maryam Abubakar Kaoje , Hon Justice Shamsudeen Jafar and Khadi Nasir Umar Zagga who becomes Grand Khadi of the Court of Appeal.
Bagudu explained that the appointees were saddled with the new responsibilities based on their merit of performance, adding that their appointments came at a very critical time in Nigeria's history.
He recalled that some unforseen circumstances like the COVID-19 pandemic and the prevailing security challenges, as well as judicial reforms had placed more formidable responsibilities on the judiciary.
The Governor however acknowledged the extant cordial relationship between the three tiers of government and the various security achievements the State had witnessed in the past years.
The Chief Judge of State, Justice Suleiman Muhammad Ambursa administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Judges and the Khadi.
Secretary to the State Government, Babale Umar Yauri, Acting Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena, Commissioners , Special Advisers, officials from the Ministry of Justice, family members and friends of the newly sworn in Judges witnessed the ceremony.
