BRAKING NEWS : ADAMU ALEIRO WITHDRAWS FROM SENATORIAL PRIMARY.

Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero representing Kebbi Central Senatorial Constituency at the National Assembly has withdrew his candidature from the ongoing APC Senatorial primary in Kebbi State.
The Senator in a letter to the National Chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, dated 27 of May,2022, and dully signed, had alleged irregularities in the delegates list available in the State.
He stated that his withdrawal will enable him to confer with his people, political associates, etc, on the next line of action. Pointing out that he remains a leader who must at all times be ready to defend the interest of those who have reposed their trust in him.
He accused the State governor of hand picking the delegates who would do his bidding. The letter titled: Withdrawal From Participation in Kebbi Central Senatorial District Primaries, according to him, the primaries in the state will be shamble and fraudulent because the delegates list comprised of people handpicked by the governor to do his bidding".
Pointing out that the amended constitution of the APC prescribed that delegates for the indirect primaries of the party are to be democratically elected.
