RAMADAN : MALAMI DONATES 1,000 BAGS OF GRAINS TO EACH 24 LGAs IN KEBBI.

Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, has been commended by his home State governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for doling out 1,000 bags of assorted grain to the fasting communities in each of the 21 Local government Areas of the State.
Bagudu also declared that the State government has procured 35,000 bags of grains for distribution across the State.
Government gesture according to him was aimed as palliatives towards bringinging down prices of grain and other food items in the State.
Also Malami applaud various interventions by the Federal government and Kebbi State government for bringing down the level of poverty in the State and Nigeria in general.
Recalling that many people in Kebbi State have benefited from the agriculture support soft loans and post-covid 19 interventions.
The ceremony which took place last weekend at the Haliru Audu Stadium, Birnin-Kebbi was attended by the Minister, his wife, the Secretary to the State Government, Babale Umar Yauri who reoresented the governor, where food items such as rice, millet and sugar were shared out.
