Hundreds of supporters of Rotimi Amaechi under Amaech Vanguard in Kebbi state, Saturday 23, April 2022, have staged a support rally in Birnin kebbi chanting support slogans and displayed placards with solidarity inscriptions in support of Mr Ameachi.
A process that saw unexpected support from the general public as people joined the march voluntarily adding momentum to the process that saw a remarkable success.
The Kebbi state Chairman and coordinator of Amaech Vanguard in Kebbi state Comrade Shamsu Muhktar told newsmen that:
“ It is a process that started from the national level down to Kebbi state . We decided to organize this campaign rally for Presidential aspiration of Rotimi Amaechi in order to sell him to the people of Kebbi state.
We believe that there’s an indigene of Kebbi state who holds a sensitive position in the ministry of transportation by name Mande Koko, he is the Managing Director Nigerian ports Authority. That is why we the people in Kebbi state think if there’s any state that has to support Ameachi apart from Rivers state Kebbi state should be number two.
That is why we gathered today with our people young and old , male and female to show our support, the reason is that this man is integrating Nigeria. He was Speaker in Rivers state House of Assembly from1999 to 2007 and during that time he formed speakers forum of Nigeria and became the chairman, and when he became the Governor of Rivers state he also did the same thing.
He formed Governors forum and subsequently became its pioneer chairman . He was also the campaign director general of Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 Presidential election that saw Buhari won the election. Under the ministry of transportation, we have seen his tireless effort, he connected Nigeria with Rail way in all nook and crannies of the country..

Ibadan to Lagos, Abuja to Kaduna, Maiduguri to Port harcourt, Katsina to Maradi Rail way has been revived by Amaechi as Minister of transportation, because the sector has been comatose for almost forty years but thanks to his leadership and his purposeness. That is why we are calling on the people of Kebbi state and Nigerians that can hear us that we should give him ample support..
We the organizers of this rally , we are in any way not propagating violence, ve contribute to the effort of the state Government in making sure that Kebbi state is more peaceful than other parts of the country’.
