KEBBI KILLINGS : SOKOTO DONATES N30 MILLION TO VICTIMS.

Sokoto State government has donted the sum of N30 million to her sister State of Kebbi for onward distribution to victims killed and those injured in an early week simultaneous attack in Zuru Emirate of Kebbi State.

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State who led a high power delegation of the State government told his host that the attack and killings was so monumental of which government and people of Sokoto State are deeply touched.

"There were similar incident that occurred in Sokoto State, therefore we are here to console each other, we are also here to pray for the repose of the souls of those that died and speedy recovery of those injured." He said.

"We also need to colectively pray for Divine intervention for an end to the security challenges in the Northwest and Nigeria in general." He added.

Responding, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu who also commiserated with Governor Tambuwal said it is one family affairs, adding that what happened to one happened to the other, an attack on one is an attack another, we should collectively put all hands on deck to combat the security challenges.

"We should avoid politicization, ethnicizaton and regionalization of security challenges, security challenges are very frustrating, as such, they require maximum cooperation of all. Governor Bagudu Said.

Meanwhile, the Kebbi State government has urged the Muslim Umar and Christian faithful across the State to use Fridays and Sundays for special prayers for an end to security challenges in the State, pray for the repose of the souls lost and to over come the various security challenges in the land.
