APC WON ALL THE 21 CHAIRMANSHIP, 225 COUNCILORSHIP SLOTS IN KEBBI LG POLLS.

The All progressive Congress (APC) has won all the 21 Local Governments Chairmanship and the 225 wards Councilorship Elections conducted last Saturday across Kebbi State.
Announcing the result to Journalists through a press Statement signed by the Chairman Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission (KESIEC), Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Mera steted that by the power conference on him by the Constitution of Nigeria of 1999 as amended, he has seemed it fit to announce the results.
"It is at this justice therefore, the Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission based on the power vonffered onto it by section 197 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to organise, supervise and conduct election into the local government council was held in the twenty one Local Government Areas and two hundred and twenty five electoral wards in the State." The statement read.
The statement read further that "interestingly, Eighteen Political Parties indicated interest to participate in the election, however, seventeen participated actively."
"I therefore wish to announce that the All Progressive Congress (APC) has won all the 21 Local Government Chairmanship and all the 225 Councilor ship election across the State." The statement read.
