MULAN Kebbi state chapter donotes sanitary packages to inmates at new correctional centre, remand home

The Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria MULAN Kebbi state chapter Monday, donated sanitary and relief packages to Muslim inmates at the New Medium Security Correctional Centre Birnin kebbi.

Delivering the package to the representative of the Commandant at the facility, Chairman of the association says it was a routine excercise aimed at tauching the lives of the inmates in a positive and hygienic way during the month of Ramadan and beyond.

Members of the association also visited the children rehabilitation center, the Remand home. Donations of sanitary packages were also presented to Sanusi Bello, the in-charge of the Remand home Birnin kebbi on behalf of the children undergoing rehabilitation.

Sanusi thanked leadership and officials of the association, thought lamented few problems the Remand home is facing. He urged the members of the association to assist in order that the Remand home is met with positive intervention.

Officials of the association also advised the children to be God fearing and desist from any act of criminality and acts of irresponsibility that would see them brought back to the Remand home after their release.

Officials of the association in attendance were the state Chairman Yusuf Hamza,  Shamsuddeen Ja'affaf, Vice Chairman, Ahmad Rufai Aminu state Secretary.

Other officials in attendance include, Iliyasu Ibrahim Adamu, Abdullahi Danbauchi Bawa, Atiku Abubakar, Akibu Abdullahi Zagga, Muhammad Nuraddeen, Lawal Hufu Garba, and Abubakar M. Ahmed
