The Sokoto state government has approved the purchase of 30 new Toyota Hilux 2020 model and 700 Bajaj motorcycles in order to enhance the security of the state.
This is contained in the state Governor's personal X handle , it reads:
"Eight Sokoto State Executive Council Meeting, where we approved the purchase of the following ;
1- 30 brand new Toyota hilux vehicles (2020 Model)
2- 700 Bajaj Motorcycles
3- Feeding allowances to the Volunteer groups and
4- Monthly allowances to the Volunteer groups.
Just to enhance the security of our dear people of Sokoto state".
