The new Commissioner of police deployed to Kebbi state police Command CP Chris Aimiono Wane, has assumed duty, Monday, September 18th, 2023.
Chris Aimiono Wane is the 36th commissioner of police ever deployed in the command.
This is contained in a press release by the command PPRO SP Nafiu Abubakar, and made available to Newsmen in Birnin kebbi.
The statement reads:
"The Kebbi State Police Command wishes to inform members of the public that, a new Commissioner of Police has been posted to the Command. He is CP Chris Aimiono Wane, psc, mnips. He took over the mantle of leadership of the Command from CP Samuel Titus Musa, psc who retired from the active service of the Nigeria Police Force.
He holds a Bachelor degree of Science in Sociology from Bendel State University, Ekpoma, Edo State, and a Masters degree in Industrial Labour Relations from Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State.
CP Chris Aimiono Wane, psc, mnips was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on 3rd March, 1990, as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police and trained at the famous Police Academy Annex, Kaduna.
While in the Force, the newly posted Commissioner of Police served in different State Commands, Zonal Commands, Formations, Force Headquarters, Abuja, and the Force Criminal Investigation Department, Lagos and Abuja.
At this juncture, he appeals to the good people of Kebbi State to support, cooperate and assist the Police and other Security Agencies with vital, accurate and prompt information with a view to ensuring their security and safety for improved socio-economic development.
His posting takes immediate effect, please'. He said.
