KEBBI AREA COMMAND OF THE NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE ORGANIZES COMPTROLLER PARADE FIRST TIME IN THREE YEARS, RECEIVES NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE
Nigeria Customs Service, Kebbi Area Command has organized parade for the first time in three years to invigorate the moral of the officers and men of the Command on Monday the 10th of July 2023.
In his address, Dr. Ben Oramalugo FCIA FNIM said the essence of the parade was to encourage, instil discipline, bond the officers uniformly and to carry out the Nigeria Customs Service core mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling, trade facilitation, provide security and enhance customs civil relationship to the host communities.
A statement by the Command Acting Custom PPRO Mustapha Mubarak says, the Comptroller stressed that the officers should be their brother’s keeper and should see each other as brothers in uniform and alsohelp each other with intelligence, reinforcement.
In another development, the Customs Area Controller received the newly appointed Commissioner of Police CP Samuel Titus Musa psc and his management team on Wednesday the 12th day of July 2023.
In his speech, The CP stated that the essence of their visitis to encourage collaboration between the two sister agencies and to solicit support whenever the need arises to fight crimes in the state.
The CAC responded by addressing his coming as extending the hand of friendship not on official ground only but on personal ground. He continued on briefing the new CP on the efforts, the Command is doing which is not only revenue generation, anti smuggling but also providing security to citizens of Kebbi State.
Dr Ben stressed that, Nigeria Customs Service Kebbi Command had been synergizing with Nigeria Police Force Kebbi Command to provide peaceful atmosphere to the entire people of Kebbi state for economic growth and development. He concluded by reassuring the new CP of maximum cooperation and continuous synergy.
