BAGUDU VISITS IDP CAMP IN ZURU EMIRATE PROMISES GOVT. ASSISTANCE.

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagud of Kebbi State has reassured the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Mahuta and Isgogo of Fakai and Zuru Local Government Area of Kebbi State of continus government support to ameliorate their suffering.
Governor Bagudu gave the assurance on Thursday while on a sympathy visit to IDPs camps in Government Day Secondary School, Mahuta and Model Primary School, Isgogo, in Zuru Emirate.
He sympathised with the victims of the banditry attack and condoled the families that lost their loved ones during the attack.
The Governor at both camps took ample of time to physically interact with a cross section of the IDPs who were mostly women, children and the aged to listen to their ordeals,needs and complaints.
"I am here to see you with important personalities and local government officials to sympathise with you, take heart and bear with the situation as it is destined by the Almighty God" He said.
He said further that he has given orders for more relief assistance and more security measures to be taken in all the affected areas.
"You will be assisted by government, just remain here until it is safe for you to go back to your various homes, We are taking more measures to safeguard your lives and properties." He reassured.
The governor was accompanied by Senator Bala Ibn Na Allah, representing Kebbi South Senatorial Zone, retired General Muhammadu Magoro and the Acting Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena.
It would be recalled that bandits attacked the people leaving along Sokoto and Zamfara villages penultimate weeks, killing many people, rustled their animals.
