EDO COMMUNITY CORONATES CHIEFS IN KEBBI

The people of Edo State (Edo Community) resident in Kebbi State on Sunday at their regular monthly meeting converged at the house of their President, Malam Abbas Abibu Oshoke to Coronates and present Certificate to ten Sons and a daughter of the Community.
The Coronation ceremony which was performed by the Onogie of Edo Community on behalf of the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Illiyasu Bashar attract members of Edo community across the State, friends and well wishers.
In his brief but message driven speech, the Onogie of Edo State in Kebbi, Chief Mohammed Oshoma congratulated the appointed Chiefs as he reminded them that their appointment was based on their track records of immense contribution to the development of Edo Community in the State.
He challenged them to me more dedicated, more committed to building a more peaceful society which Kebbi State is known for over the years.
The Onogie who would be having ten Advisory Council members in his Council to decide the day to day affair bothering on the Edo Community in the State also have a woman as Chief.
Among those decorated as Chief and presented with a certificate includes; Malam Abbas Abibu Oshoke who is the President of the Community Association and also a Principal Lecturer at the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin-Kebbi, he becomes the Akhayegbo, Chief Oyibo Kashari, who bagged the Enwai-Oba, Chief Inachor Christoper, who becomes the Ala-uyor, are Principal Lecturers at the Polytechnic.
Others are; an ITC icon, Chief Abiodun Olorunshakin, who becomes the Ori-Oba, a retired Polytechnic Staff, Chief Samson Bello who becomes the Akuagbe and the only Woman, Chief Hauwa Musa who bagged the tittle of Ivie of Kebbi among others.
