KEBBI GOVT. PARTNERS PAKISTAN GOVT. ON COOPERATIONS.

Kebbi State government is to partners the government of Republic of Pakistan in areas of mutual cooperation for the benefit of Kebbi State and the Republic of Pakistan.

This was disclosed yesterday when the Pakistani High Commissioner to Nigeria, Major General Mohammed Tayyib Azzam paid a courtesy call on Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.

Bagudu while welcoming the envoy said the resolve to expand the cooperation was based on the cordial relationship between the two countries and Kebbi State in particular.

Governor Bagudu who expressed delight with the visit of the Envoy said there are numbers of existing areas of relationship for decades which would be expanded, adding that Nigeria and Pakistan have deep relationship in addition to her similarities.

Earlier in his speech, the Pakistani High Commissioner agreed that Nigeria and Pakistan have a lot of similarities which includes environment, security challenges and geography location  in the world.

General Azzam described Nigeria as a fast emerging economy and one of the most promising nations of the world. Adding that his Country plans to establish some mega pharmaceutical forms as well as bulk vegetables and fruits storage facilities.
