Governor of Sokoto State and Presidential aspirant under the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has told the leadership of Kebbi State chapter of the party to be ready and prepare to receives members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) into its fold.
Tambuwal who was in Birnin-Kebbi yesterday on what he called consultation visit to members and leadership of PDP in the State over his ambition to run for the Nigeria number one position said APC is currently in disarray as the Party has failed the people of Nigeria woefully.
The APC according to him failed on their promises to Nigeria to bring insecurity, corruption etc. to an end but unfortunately insecurity across Nigeria today is so monumental and talk of corruprions, the APC administration has fantastically entrenched corruption into the Nigeria daily live.
While admonishing his party members in Kebbi State to Support his ambition, he reitated that Kebbi State being an integral part of Sokoto he has to kick start his consultation from his home front hence his visit to the State.
In his speech, the former Governor of Sokoto State who is also a Chieftain of PDP, Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, who accompanied the Presidential aspirant in his consultation visit said Tambuwal cannot do it alone without elders and old hands in the party like him to team up with him and achieve his ambitions for the benefit of Nigeria future.
Bafarawa said further that Governor Tambuwal has the requisite qualifications and requirements to take him to the number one position in the land having rose from being a member of the House of Representative to become the Speaker of House of Representative.
While welcoming Tambuwal to Kebbi State, the State Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Usman Bello Suru expressed the desire of Kebbi State members of their party and the entire delegates of the party to go along with him to achieve his aim of becoming the next president of Nigeria, saying, APC is a huge disappointment to the Nigeria growth.
