150 KEBBI STUDENTS ARRIVES INDIA FOR MEDICAL STUDIES.

The 150 Students of Kebbi State origin who were selected to undergo studies at various Universities with special biased for Medicine and other medical related courses under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with the Institutions have arrived in India.
The State Commissioner for Higher Education, Professor Mukhtar Umar Bunza who led government delgation that accompanied the Stuents to India disclosed this to newsmen in Birnin-Kebbi on arrival from their trip from that Country.
Professor Bunza disclosed further that the Students were enrolled to study in the best India Universities with special biased in Medicines and medical disciplines, adding that the State considered those selected for the studies as most valuable to the State and are expected to secure the State upon their return in future.
He stated that the Indian environment is just like Nigeria, the Students were given best accomodations, good feeding, and are exposed to laboratories, and library which would allowed them full consentrations in their studies.
The Commissioner also added that aside the 150 Student sent to India, other students numbering 50 are sent to Sudan to study medicine as well. Adding that the State government aim was to train vibrant medical Doctor and other medical personels for Kebbi State.
He described the Students as highly discipline individuals who were told to respect the rules and regulations of their host Country as their business in that Country is to pursue their studies to the fullest and nothing more.
