Prospective corps member abducted on his way to camp escapes from kidnappers' den


Yeye Terlumun Madidi, one of the Benue State University (BSU) graduates kidnapped on the way to their various camps, has reportedly regained freedom.

BSU Media House said Yeye regained his freedom on Sunday, October 24, 2021.

He managed to escape the kidnappers' hideout and found his way to a police station.

A former coursemate of his also took to Facebook to share the good news.


Recall that prospective corps members Iorliam Jennifer Awashima, a graduate Benue State University, Department Of English, and Yiye Terlumun Madidi, a graduate of the Department of Political Science, Benue State University, Makurdi, alongside a 200 Level student of Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, who hails from Benue State, were kidnapped by suspected bandits in Zamfara State on October 20, 2021, on their way to their various destinations.
