The Kebbi state Ministry of Justice has begun prosecution of six people in connection with alleged death of a young man alleged to have stolen a motorcycle in Badariya on September 19th.
The Ministry under the leadership of the Director Public Prosecution, led two other Lawyers in the prosection that arraigned six accused persons before a Kebbi state high court Judge sitting at Gwadangaji, 8 December 2022.
The prosecution closed their side of the story with a total of nine witnesses on Thursday.
Charges leveled against the accused persons bothers on culpable homicide, conspiracy, theft and entering of dwelling house.
Three Lawyers are on the defence for four of the accused persons, and a separate Lawyer for the remaining two accused.
Earlier, the court sat on December 6 but the matter was adjourned to the 8 being Thursday. Also, the Judge adjourned the matter to Monday 12 December 2022, as the defence are expected to close their defence with two witnessess .
