ALIERO DECAMPES TO PDP, VOWS PARTY WILL WIN 2023 ELECTIONS IN KEBBI.

Senator Adamu Aliero who decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) thursday night in Birnin-Kebbi has vowed the party will take over the State from the All Progressive Congress (APC) come 2023 general Elections.

Senator Aliero, having won the senatorial ticket for kebbi central senatorial district under the platform of the PDP said he and his supporters left the APC because of injustice done to them.

Addressing his supporters after his declaration as the winner, Aliero told his supporters that, "I have returned to the PDP. I need your support as always. I can assure you the PDP will take over the affairs of kebbi state in the coming elections". 

"We are set to do that with your support. We will not only win the kebbi central senatorial district election we will also win kebbi state governorship election. 

"I left the APC because of injustice. I returned to PDP because the state has not witness any development under the APC government. I assured you we will bring the needed development to kebbi state when PDP takes over the mantle of leadership of the state". He boasted.

Aliero commended his supporters in the eight local government areas of Jega, Aliero, Bunza, Gwandu , Birnin Kebbi, Koko Besse, Kalgo and Maiyama that made up Kebbi Central Senatorial District for always standing by him anytime he comes out to contest since 1999. 

"This has given me hope that come what may PDP will win the governorship and senatorial elections in Kebbi state. 

"I assured you that I will never let you down. As a senator representing kebbi central I have embarked on several projects for the benefit of people of my senatorial district across the eight local government areas constituting the senatorial district and I promise to do more". He assured. 

While declaring Aliero winner of the  PDP primary election for Kebbi central senatorial election,the acting chairman of the PDP electoral committee, Barrister Baba Lawal Aliyu said "Aliero  having scored the highest votes of 246 from the total votes of 264 is hereby declared winner of the primary election".

He said Aliero's  opponent, former state chairman of the PDP , Alhaji Haruna Saidu scored 15 votes out of a total of 264 votes cast by the delegates while 3 of the votes were invalid.
