NUT NAT'L PRESIDENT, NASIRU IDRIS IS APC GOVERNORSHIP FLAG BEARER IN KEBBI.

The National President of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Dr.Nasiru Idris has emerged as the All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship flag bearer for Kebbi State in next year (2023).
Dr. Idris who polled a total votes of 1055 out of 1090 total votes from delegates beat other two aspirant which includes the incumbent Senate leader, Dr. Yahaya Abdullahi and former Deputy Comptroller of Customs, Alhaji Abubakar Gari Mallam who came at a distance of 35 votes while the Senate Leader polled Zero vote.
The returning officer for the primary election and APC National Monitoring Committee who declared Idris winner of the Governorship primary, Alhaji Idris Yahuza said "By the power vested in me as the returning officer, I hereby declared you, Nasiru Idris winner of the Kebbi APC Governorship primary election having polled 1055 out of the 1090 votes cast by the delegates".
Meanwhile, a reactions from the camp of the Senate Leader, through a short SMS messages by his Media aids, Jamil Yusuf Guluma said the results were rejected by the Senate Leader as an appropriate action shall be taken in due course to seek redress.
