The Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kebbi State Chapter, who is also the presiding Clergy of the St. Luke's Anglican Church, Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State has admonished Christians and Leaders in Nigeria to imbibe the the scripture the heralds the birth, death and risen of Jesus Christ as he said his coming is immenient.
Rev. Kanta in his Christmas message to go the people and and government of Kebbi State stated that, this is a message of hope which serves as a wellspring of great joy.
The Clergy man who quoted from the book of Psalm 46: 4-5 and Matt. 1.21 said we can rejoice again because Christ birth and his name "Immanuel" means God with us implies that God has come to dwell among his people.
He added that as men of God we should not be troubled about anything, but to pray about everything.
In his message to Christians in the State, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu called on all and sundry in the State to use the festival period to continue to live peaceful with each other irrespective of religious, political or ethinic differences.
Governor Bagudu expressed that the State and Nigeria at large stood to benefit more as well as prosper with absolute unity.
