Onyebuchi Okafor is suspected to have impregnated one Munsura Shehu and she had delivered a baby girl called Halimatu Sa'adiya..Mr Oyebuchi and the said Mansura Shehu Zauro were arraigned before the Chief Magistrate Court 1 Birnin kebbi for adultery. Mr Knyebuchi applied for bail before the Chief Magistrate Court but was refused on 12th July 2021 ,Mr Onyebuchi represented by Chief Magnus Ihejirika applied for enforcement of fundamental human right in the Federal High Court Birnin kebbi in suit No. FHC/KB/CS/22/2021.against the Attorney General kebbi State , Commissioner of Police Kebbi State and Hisbah Committee
The case came up for hearing today 23rd July 2021 but could not go on as Onyebuchi led Counsel E. C. Oguelina failed to serve the enrolment order of the court on the Respondents,to enable them file written addresses on whether the court has jurisdiction to entertain the application, the case adjourned to 20th September 2021 to enable Onyebuchi's Counsel to comply with the court order.
